Rana’s impact on the profession is exemplified through her successful administration of a $4.9 million Department of Labor apprenticeship grant, which produced 270+ newly credentialed health information professionals while building a groundbreaking apprenticeship network spanning 145+ employers across 42 states. Through strategic collaboration with national employers, she established completion criteria, oversaw Related Technical Instruction (RTI), and implemented robust performance monitoring systems that prepared apprentices with the essential skills, knowledge, and experience needed to excel in today’s health information environment.Â
As a strategic leader, Rana bridges industry innovation with practical implementation through policy integration and cross-functional coordination.
